Principal Manufacturing Engineering - Operations Lead (Medtech)

Location: Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, United States; onsite 5 days per week

Salary: $123,200–$184,800 per year, plus eligibility for a short-term incentive plan.

What you will do

• Provide technical and operational leadership for manufacturing operations at the hirify.global Energy and Component Center.
• Design manufacturing processes, production layouts, equipment installations, material-handling systems, and sequences of operations.
• Inspect machinery, equipment, and tools; investigate deficiencies; and initiate corrective actions to protect product quality.
• Lead complex manufacturing problem resolution and continuous improvement across safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost.
• Support process capability expansion, capacity investments, automation, technology implementation, and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and New Product Introduction teams while mentoring engineering talent.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with at least 5 years, or a PhD with at least 3 years.
• Experience supporting manufacturing operations in a regulated or high-volume environment is preferred, including medical device, pharmaceutical, aerospace, or electronics manufacturing.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and resolving manufacturing, quality, equipment, or operational performance issues.
• Experience implementing process improvements and supporting capital equipment, capacity expansion, automation, or manufacturing technology projects.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Operational Excellence, technical leadership, or engineering mentorship is preferred.
• Must work onsite 5 days per week in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, United States. U.S. work authorization is required; sponsorship is available for Principal-level roles and above.
