Continuous Improvement Leader (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Blacksburg, Virginia, United States; approximately 10% travel to other facilities, customers, and suppliers.

Salary: $85,000–$115,000 annually.

What you will do

• Lead and apply Lean Six Sigma principles to improve business and manufacturing processes.
• Translate strategic goals into actionable improvement plans and track annual performance.
• Coordinate cross-functional improvement activities, Lean events, and process improvement projects.
• Develop and standardize continuous improvement tools, processes, metrics, and daily improvement systems.
• Optimize site operations through 5S, material flow, Kanban systems, and other methods to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
• Train staff, guide improvement personnel, and identify solutions that reduce costs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and five years of experience using continuous improvement tools.
• Lean Six Sigma experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
• Experience with statistical evaluation techniques, process capability analysis, and performance metrics is strongly preferred.
• Onsite availability in Blacksburg, Virginia is required.
• Ability to access U.S. export-controlled information.
