Project Engineer III/Senior (Natural Gas)

Salary: $122,900–$212,000 per year

What you will do

• Conceptualize, design, coordinate, and manage midstream natural gas facilities through construction, commissioning, and start-up.
• Develop and manage capital and expense projects while controlling budgets, schedules, benefits, and project performance.
• Coordinate detailed design and technical reviews against corporate engineering standards.
• Manage multiple projects of varying complexity with cross-functional internal stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and optimize processes using sound engineering practices.
• Lead project safety reviews, including HAZOPs, PHAs, and PSSRs, and support management-of-change and energy-isolation procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, civil, chemical, electrical, or another engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited institution, or registration as a professional engineer with relevant experience.
• At least four years of professional experience.
• Experience with meter stations, compressor stations, dehydration, amine treating, gas plants, or related facilities is preferred.
• Ability to work in compliance with company standards, procedures, and government requirements.
• Commitment to personal and process safety, including participation in safety meetings and reviews.
