HR Intern - Part Time

Location: Jurupa Valley, California; reliable transportation to Crane CryoWorks is required

Salary: $23–$26 per hour

What you will do

• Support recruiting by posting openings, reviewing applications, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and communicating with candidates.
• Assist with background checks, reference checks, offer letters, and notification letters.
• Support new-hire orientation, benefits enrollment, employee training, and HR administration.
• Maintain employee records, HRIS data, personnel files, and shared HR resources.
• Assist with employee engagement, performance documentation, feedback processes, and general HR questions.
• Support benefits, workers’ compensation, unemployment, OSHA, payroll-related administration, reception coverage, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Currently a senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related coursework.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
• Availability for 20–30 weekday hours per week.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
