Center Duty Officer

What you will do

• Monitor center-wide activities, facilities, dormitories, cafeterias, equipment, and property to maintain safety and accountability.
• Support student behavior modification, positive reinforcement, retention, and successful progression through the program.
• Supervise staff and center functions during evening and weekend hours, maintaining student and staff accountability.
• Respond to and coordinate center-based emergencies, investigate immediate issues, and document notable events and injuries.
• Ensure compliance with center standard operating procedures, corporate policies, safety requirements, and evening operating rules.
• Coordinate staffing and communication with center management, the Center Director, Human Resources, wellness leadership, and relevant security personnel.

Requirements

• Four-year college or university degree preferred; an associate degree plus one year of experience in Juvenile Justice or Human Services is acceptable.
• Five years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree if other requirements are met.
• Experience working with diverse youth.
• Valid driver’s license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work and supervise operations during evening and weekend hours.
