EHS Manager (Ecommerce)

What you will do

• Own ORIR and LTI performance data, identify root causes with Operations, and drive corrective and preventive actions to completion.
• Document and investigate OSHA-recordable incidents and ensure corrective actions are closed on time.
• Coordinate new-hire and powered industrial truck safety training, maintaining at least 95% completion and ensuring onboarding training occurs before the first floor shift.
• Conduct monthly safety audits, track open findings, and improve results quarter over quarter.
• Maintain and regularly practice emergency response plans, evacuation procedures, and first-aid readiness across all shifts.
• Manage workers’ compensation claims, modified-duty programs, timely reporting, and cost reduction initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of safety or EHS experience, ideally in production, warehousing, distribution, or ecommerce fulfillment.
• Formal or extensive regulatory experience, including responsibility for OSHA 300 logs, complaints, and on-site support.
• Experience supporting multi-shift operations, including night or weekend shifts.
• Hands-on experience with job hazard analyses, safety audits, incident investigations, and root cause analyses.
• Ability to independently own and execute integrated safety programs without dedicated Safety Supervisor support.
• Regular floor-level presence in the fulfillment center is required.
