Senior Clinical System Lead (Clinical Data Systems)

Location: Remote or hybrid in Canada, Colombia, or Mexico; approximately 15% domestic and international travel.

What you will do

• Lead and direct Clinical Data Science project teams through the initiation, planning, setup, maintenance, control, and closure of clinical systems.
• Support business development, including bid defence meetings and technical expertise for sales efforts.
• Review study-team technical documentation, clinical report forms, and project deliverables for quality.
• Act as a contact point for internal and external customer teams and support project kick-off meetings.
• Coordinate system integrations, vendor interactions, timelines, deliverables, budgets, and issue escalation.
• Contribute to revenue forecasting and resource planning for assigned projects.

Requirements

• 5+ years of clinical data management experience, including implementation and management of clinical data systems.
• Technical understanding of relational databases and the ability to create medium- to complex-level data flow diagrams.
• Applied project management skills covering timelines, resource requirements, and financial tracking.
• Strong understanding of clinical protocols, data collection requirements, user experience, and underlying data structures.
• Ability to lead internal user acceptance testing of configured system solutions and adapt to changing requirements.
• Fluent written and spoken English and the language of the host country are required. A bachelor’s degree or local equivalent is required.
