Client Engagement Manager (Medical Communications): Leading client relationships and the delivery of medical communications programs across life sciences accounts with an accent on strategic alignment, financial management, regulatory compliance, and quality delivery. Location: Home-based within the United States or Canada. Hybrid work applies if located within a commutable distance of the Toronto, San Francisco, Boston, or Yardley, Pennsylvania offices. Occasional onsite client meetings, advisory boards, congress activities, and speaker programs may be required.

What you will do
- Manage day-to-day client relationships and serve as the primary contact for assigned accounts and projects.
- Lead medical communications programs from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards.
- Run client status meetings, prepare agendas and updates, and coordinate timely follow-up.
- Collaborate with Creative, Editorial, Digital, and Project teams to manage execution and review deliverables.
- Manage project financials, invoicing, reconciliations, change orders, proposals, and statements of work.
- Support MLR review, compliance with SOPs and industry regulations, junior team development, and business development activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; Communications, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field preferred.
- 4–6+ years of experience in medical communications, medical education, pharmaceutical marketing, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of the life sciences industry, therapeutic landscapes, and drug development.
- Financial acumen including forecasting, statement of work development, budget tracking, and profitability management.
- Strong client communication, organization, time management, collaboration, quality, and compliance skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management systems.

- Advanced degree.
- Familiarity with Veeva PromoMats or similar document submission systems.
