HRIS Analyst I

Location: Remote within the United States, Texas

Salary: $65,000–$75,000 per year

What you will do

• Provide day-to-day support for Workday and related HR systems, resolving user inquiries and system issues.
• Maintain employee, organizational, and position data integrity through audits, cleanup, governance, and discrepancy correction.
• Develop, maintain, validate, and distribute standard and ad hoc HR reports and workforce analytics.
• Test Workday releases, enhancements, modules, business processes, and integrations using documented test scripts.
• Support configuration changes, HR technology projects, process improvements, and automation opportunities.
• Maintain system documentation, user guides, security roles, permissions, and access reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, information systems, business administration, computer science, or a related field; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
• 1–3 years of experience supporting HRIS, Workday, payroll, HR operations, data analytics, or related business systems.
• Experience working with large datasets and reporting tools.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of HR processes, data privacy, confidentiality, security practices, and employee lifecycle events.

Nice to have

• Experience with Workday HCM.
• Exposure to HR, payroll, benefits, compensation, talent, or recruiting processes.
• Experience with HR data auditing, reporting, system implementations, or upgrades.
