Production Trainer (Injection Molding)

Location: Vernon Hills, Illinois, United States; on-site day shift position

Salary: $24.00–$30.00 USD per hour

What you will do

• Welcome new production employees and temporary workers, introducing the workstations, production floor, colleagues, quality team, and suppliers.
• Manage training checklists and coordinate with Production Supervisors to assign training buddies.
• Demonstrate machine start-up, operation, shutdown, and responses to equipment malfunctions or accidents.
• Train employees on workstation documentation, product quality, visual inspections, traceability, batch preparation, and GMP procedures.
• Explain workstation hazards and standard responses to safety concerns and incidents.
• Assess employees after induction, provide feedback or additional training, and share best practices with production and HR teams.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as an effective operator in injection molding and/or assembly.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Completed training provided by the Quality and EHS departments.
• Extensive knowledge of safety procedures, GMP, quality procedures, and production documentation.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for 90% of shifts.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
