Compensation Analyst

Location: 100% remote

Contract duration: 4 months; part-time, 20–25 hours per week

hirify.global provides compensation analysis support for a healthcare client.

What you will do

• Evaluate job placement, conduct job audits, analyze roles, and determine pay grades using survey data and internal compensation structures.
• Review and generate offer quotes, providing rationale and supporting candidate communication with Talent Acquisition Consultants.
• Process Personnel Action Forms for hires, promotions, transfers, salary adjustments, and terminations while ensuring HRIS accuracy and policy compliance.
• Administer certification pay and earnings code changes, update job descriptions, and maintain compensation and job data integrity.
• Advise and train HR colleagues and hiring managers on compensation and personnel processes.
• Develop SOPs and checklists, audit outcomes, and participate in HR process improvement initiatives with payroll and benefits teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, HR Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent related experience preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in a Compensation HR Analyst role.
• Strong salary analysis, compensation surveying, job description auditing, and new-hire salary market analysis skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, spreadsheet analysis, and VLOOKUPs.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group).
• Prior experience in a hospital setting.
