Industrial HVAC Maintenance Technician (HVAC)

Location: Office/site only in Gibsonton, Florida, United States. Full-time, first shift, Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. No travel required.

What you will do

• Diagnose, inspect, repair, and maintain large rooftop HVAC units, including compressors, economizers, VAVs, and control systems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot chillers, pumps, air handlers, coils, valves, cooling towers, and chilled water systems.
• Test system performance with gauges, meters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools.
• Recover and charge refrigerant, detect leaks, and maintain compliance records, inspection logs, and system documentation.
• Execute preventive maintenance schedules and identify potential failures, corrective actions, and capital improvement opportunities.
• Drive root-cause improvement processes and follow action items through to completion.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of hands-on commercial or industrial HVAC experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong understanding of electrical schematics and experience troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems with diagnostic equipment.
• Familiarity with humidity and temperature controls, CMMS platforms, and digital maintenance tools.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
• Must be able to work with export-controlled technology; any required export license is a prerequisite.
