HVAC Maintenance Technician (Sun-Thur 7pm-3am)

Location: Marion, North Carolina, United States; onsite, Sunday–Thursday, 7:00 p.m.–3:00 a.m.

Salary: $52,800–$63,800 annually.

What you will do

• Maintain, troubleshoot, modify, install, and support plant manufacturing equipment and HVAC systems.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance, including laser alignment, vibration analysis, infrared, and ultrasonic inspections.
• Diagnose PLC, servo, electrical, mechanical, alignment, adjustment, and setup issues using laptops, drawings, multimeters, and diagnostic equipment.
• Analyze equipment failures, identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and monitor reliability and parts-spending trends.
• Coordinate with engineering, vendors, quality, and maintenance teams during equipment modifications, installations, factory acceptance testing, and training.
• Maintain equipment documentation, SOPs, cGMP standards, safety requirements, and clean work areas using 6S principles.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; minimum age 18.
• At least 5 years of mechanical systems repair, industrial maintenance, or equivalent experience.
• Must be authorized to work for an employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Ability to obtain universal HVAC certification within 6 months of starting.
• Basic English written and oral communication, computer, mathematics, and technical drawing comprehension skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, climb and crawl in tight spaces, work around moving equipment, and perform physical tasks in controlled environments.

Nice to have

• Universal HVAC certificate.
• Associate degree in a technical field such as industrial maintenance.
