What you will do
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC/R systems, including chillers, boilers, air handlers, split systems, and refrigeration units.
- Perform preventive maintenance by inspecting, cleaning, calibrating, and testing HVAC equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic tools.
- Adjust system controls and verify temperature, humidity, airflow, and overall equipment performance.
- Respond to emergency service calls, document maintenance and repair work, and coordinate with technicians and facility management.
- Follow safety protocols, building codes, and company policies.
Requirements
- Valid Journeyman HVAC license required.
- At least five years of commercial or industrial HVAC Technician experience.
- EPA Section 608 Universal Certification required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; an accredited HVAC technical program is preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams, with strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems, controls, and troubleshooting.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to lift heavy objects and work in varied weather conditions and confined spaces.
