Maintenance Technician 3 - HVAC - 1st Shift (HVAC)

Location: Sanford, North Carolina, United States. Onsite first-shift role, Monday–Friday, 6:15 AM–2:15 PM, with overtime and occasional weekend, holiday, and plant-shutdown support required.

Salary: $28.35–$35.45 per hour; starting rate is $28.35 per hour.

What you will do

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on process and production equipment using CMMS.
• Respond to work orders, provide service feedback, and ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Carry out reparative maintenance and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems.
• Follow job hazard analysis, lockout/tagout, PPE, and other safety procedures.
• Work independently and complete assigned tasks according to supervisor-provided procedures.
• Train other technicians and support installations during weekends, holidays, and plant shutdowns when needed.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of cumulative industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Experience with corrective, preventive, and testing activities.
• Ability to work at heights up to 30 feet, frequently lift and carry up to 35 pounds, and perform repeated walking, squatting, and bending.
• Ability to read blueprints and equipment diagrams and use common maintenance tools safely.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair manufacturing machine components, electrical control circuits, server motors, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Successful completion of an online assessment, interview, background check, drug screen, and medical review.

Nice to have

• Relevant industry certification.
• Previous experience at a hirify.global facility.
• Experience using CMMS and maintaining or troubleshooting PLCs.
• Extensive experience troubleshooting and repairing hoists and cranes.
