Engineer Lead, Software (Fintech)

hirify.global provides financial services technology and supports automotive lending clients through its Auto Finance team.

What you will do

• Provide application development, production infrastructure, and on-call support for the Auto Finance lending application.
• Develop, test, debug, document, implement, maintain, and integrate software application components.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into product designs, technical specifications, and application logic.
• Support application defect resolution and enhancements while working with client teams.
• Contribute to architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation, and buy-versus-build recommendations.
• Help transition the mainframe-based lending application to a server-based Asset Finance application.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent education and experience.
• 10+ years of application development experience, including system design or technical leadership across multiple projects.
• Knowledge of end-to-end software development life cycles, including waterfall, iterative, and modern approaches.
• Strong customer service, communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and time management skills.
• Proficiency in COBOL programming and mainframe environments.
• Current and future visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with hirify.global Auto Finance, GN architecture, or Systematics applications.
• Willingness to transition to a C#/.NET server-based Asset Finance application.
• Knowledge of C# and .NET.
