What you will do

• Escort patients, prepare examination rooms, and maintain clinical supplies and equipment.
• Review medical information, collect updated health data, take vital signs, draw blood, administer injections and immunizations, and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer approved medications under provider direction and written orders.
• Support individualized patient care plans, identify care gaps, and conduct outreach to eligible patient groups.
• Handle scheduling, check-in and check-out, medical record requests, referrals, specialist coordination, and other front-desk duties.
• Document patient information accurately, process test results, and communicate results according to provider instructions.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant or related program.
• National or state-specific Medical Assistant certification or registration; certification or registration is required where mandated by the state.
• CPR/BLS certification required by the start date.
• Ability to work onsite in Albert Lea, Minnesota.

Nice to have

• Phlebotomy experience.
