Manager, Sales Compliance

Location: Hybrid, based in Vancouver, Canada

Base salary: $121,000–$151,500 CAD per year, plus potential equity grants.

What you will do

• Build the vision and roadmap for the Merchant revenue assurance program.
• Own the effectiveness of key SOX revenue controls and contract-to-system-to-charge reconciliations.
• Oversee commission rate changes, merchant onboarding, refunds, corrections, and outreach related to discrepancies.
• Investigate mismatches, validate exposure assessments, and drive timely root-cause remediation.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Accounting, Legal, Audit, and data teams to improve reconciliation views, scripts, SOPs, and automation.
• Prepare audit-ready documentation and present control outcomes, risks, and insights to leadership and Internal Audit.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in external audit, internal audit, or SOX compliance; Big Four experience is preferred.
• Experience testing or operating revenue-related controls and understanding revenue recognition and order-to-cash processes.
• High proficiency in Excel and comfort working with large datasets.
• Experience partnering with data teams and investigating data discrepancies with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to own recurring controls and interact directly with auditors in a structured, process-driven environment.
• Fluency in AI tools and concepts, including identifying and deploying AI-forward solutions for efficiency, controls, and insights.
