Focus on building scalable contract management infrastructure, refining negotiation guardrails, using AI-assisted review tools, and supporting complex warehousing, transportation, privacy, and technology contracts.

What you will do
- Review, negotiate, and execute customer, reseller, referral, strategic partnership, vendor, amendment, and NDA agreements.
- Partner with Sales, Partnerships, Operations, Finance, and Product to structure deals and balance legal risk with business objectives.
- Own and refine contract playbooks, fallback positions, escalation thresholds, and approval authorities.
- Help build contract management infrastructure, including template libraries, workflow tools, and process documentation.
- Provide day-to-day advice on contract interpretation, obligations, compliance, and risk assessment.
- Identify opportunities to improve contract processes, operational efficiency, and standardization.
Requirements
- 3+ years of commercial transaction experience in ecommerce or logistics.
- Experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, including warehousing and logistics agreements.
- Strong business judgment and the ability to provide practical, risk-balanced advice.
- Ability to work independently, manage a high-volume contract portfolio, and operate effectively in ambiguity.
- J.D. from an accredited law school and membership in at least one state bar.
- Comfort with legal technology, AI-assisted contract review tools, and CLM platforms.
Nice to have
- Experience with Ironclad, in-house legal work, or logistics operations.
- Knowledge of warehouse liens, bailment law, or UCC Article 7.
- Familiarity with FMCSA broker regulations, transportation law, or logistics compliance.
- Experience with data privacy agreements, technology contracts, or software licensing.
- Experience building processes where established systems do not yet exist.
