Desktop Endpoint Specialist (Jamf Pro)

Location: On-site in Washington, DC, USA, daily Monday through Friday

What you will do

• Design, deploy, configure, administer, upgrade, and troubleshoot Jamf Pro infrastructure in enterprise environments.
• Manage Apple Business Manager, Automated Device Enrollment, PreStage Enrollments, configuration profiles, policies, Smart Groups, and Extension Attributes.
• Manage macOS, iOS, and iPadOS enrollment, configuration, compliance, applications, encryption, certificates, and device lifecycle activities.
• Create Bash and shell scripts, Jamf policies, application packages, and automation for endpoint administration.
• Support Microsoft Intune for Windows and mobile devices, including enrollment, compliance, configuration, and application deployment.
• Collaborate with Security, Network, Infrastructure, and Service Desk teams on endpoint migrations, refreshes, upgrades, deployments, and complex incidents.

Requirements

• AA/AS degree or equivalent.
• At least 6 years of experience in endpoint management, enterprise mobility, systems administration, or related enterprise IT environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Jamf Pro, macOS administration, Apple MDM, Apple Business Manager, and Automated Device Enrollment.
• Experience with Bash or shell scripting, FileVault, certificates, SSL/TLS, endpoint security, compliance, and enterprise troubleshooting.
• Experience integrating Jamf with Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, and SSO/SAML; working knowledge of Microsoft Intune.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.

Nice to have

• Jamf Certified Associate, Administrator, or Engineer certification.
• Experience supporting federal contracts.
• Experience with Jamf Protect, Jamf Connect, Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, and Zscaler.
• Strong technical documentation, communication, analysis, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
