ServiceNow Administrator / Automation Analyst (AI)

Location: Remote within Ontario, Canada

Salary: CAD 80,000–90,000 per year; US range: USD 58,000–65,000 per year

What you will do

• Support AI-enabled service improvement and self-service initiatives using Virtual Agent, AI Search, knowledge, and ServiceNow automation capabilities.
• Identify, design, configure, test, and implement workflow automation with Flow Designer, subflows, approvals, notifications, and IntegrationHub.
• Build and enhance Service Catalog items, service request workflows, forms, variables, routing, approvals, and fulfillment processes.
• Configure Employee Center and Service Portal, including widgets and user-experience improvements.
• Administer, troubleshoot, and enhance ServiceNow ITSM and core platform functionality.
• Create documentation, test plans, implementation plans, and coordinate releases, upgrades, instance clones, deployment validation, and UAT.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of hands-on ServiceNow administration, configuration, or platform support experience.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM, Virtual Agent or AI-enabled self-service, Flow Designer, workflow automation, and Service Catalog configuration.
• Experience with Employee Center, Service Portal, portal widgets, JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, CSS/SCSS, or Bootstrap.
• Experience configuring forms, fields, tables, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, gathering requirements, and translating business needs into solutions.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills, with general knowledge of ITSM and ITIL principles.

Nice to have

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification or relevant development experience.
• Experience with IntegrationHub, ServiceNow spokes, REST/SOAP APIs, and enterprise integrations.
• Experience automating onboarding, offboarding, identity and access management, device management, or service fulfillment.
• Experience with Virtual Assist, Now Assist, AI Search, UI Builder, Service Operations Workspace, SPM, CMDB/CSDM, ITAM/HAM, Performance Analytics, or ATF.
• Understanding of UI/UX, usability, responsive design, and accessibility principles.
