Senior Finance Systems Analyst (Sage Intacct)

Location: Remote within Canada; candidates must be based in British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Ontario, Nova Scotia, or be willing to relocate to Canada

Salary: CAD 82,000–111,000 per year

What you will do

• Administer, configure, optimize, and support Sage Intacct and related finance systems, including workflows, reporting, user access, and permissions.
• Lead integrations across finance and enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, payroll, procurement, banking, and reporting systems.
• Monitor data flows, validate system outputs, support reconciliations, and maintain data integrity for accounting, treasury, investments, and financial reporting.
• Drive workflow improvements, testing, reporting enhancements, process automation, and the reduction of manual spreadsheets and journal-entry workarounds.
• Coordinate with Finance, IT, external vendors, implementation partners, and system users on changes, issue resolution, testing, training, and adoption.
• Maintain finance systems documentation, SOPs, controls, audit-ready materials, data definitions, and reporting governance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5–7 years of experience supporting finance systems, ERP platforms, system integrations, or finance transformation initiatives.
• Strong functional knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Sage Intacct, including configuration, workflows, access management, reporting, testing, and optimization.
• Understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, financial close, reporting, controls, and data integrity.
• Experience working with implementation partners, consultants, technology vendors, IT teams, and finance users.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously in a collaborative environment.

Nice to have

• Sage Intacct administration or certification.
• Experience in a nonprofit, social enterprise, or mission-driven organization.
• Familiarity with Vena, Salesforce, or UKG.
