Building Assembler - Sheet Metal

Location: Dallas, Texas, United States; onsite production work

Manufacturing partner delivering products and infrastructure solutions for market-leading brands, with this role supporting substation building enclosures and potentially Axiom’s critical digital infrastructure business.

What you will do

• Review and follow blueprints, diagrams, procedures, and work instructions to complete assemblies.
• Assemble sheet-metal and other mechanical components for substation building enclosures.
• Use power tools and hand tools, including drills, impact drivers, screwdrivers, and grinders.
• Perform quality checks, identify defects, and record and report issues.
• Maintain supplies, tools, parts, and a clean and safe workstation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of assembly experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to interpret written instructions, blueprints, wiring drawings, schematics, and engineering diagrams.
• Basic math skills and understanding of measurements and common tools.
• Ability to safely operate powered equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, scissor lifts, or overhead cranes.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, perform repetitive tasks, and lift, push, or pull up to 35 pounds; PPE is required on the production floor.
