Machine Assembler (Packaging Automation)

Location: New Freedom, PA, USA; onsite at the manufacturing plant

What you will do

• Assemble machines according to engineering specifications and machine drawings.
• Build, test, and troubleshoot pressure-sensitive labeling equipment.
• Identify and correct operational defects during machine testing.
• Work with engineers to determine assembly changes needed for optimum machine performance.
• Support manufacturing activities at the New Freedom plant.

Requirements

• Ability to read machine drawings and documentation.
• Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to work independently and follow all safety guidelines.
• Own tools.
• Ability to occasionally lift 40–50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; employment eligibility is verified through E-Verify.

Nice to have

• Machine shop knowledge or background.
