Trade Compliance Analyst (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in the Guadalajara Area, Mexico

What you will do

• Own the IMMEX program, including VUCEM filings, registrations, legal stay timeframes, and compliance requirements.
• Manage Annex 24, 30, and 31 customs inventory controls covering imports, exports, discharges, waste, and scrap.
• Reconcile customs records with physical inventory and NetSuite data, resolving discrepancies.
• Review customs broker documentation and validate reports from the external IMMEX service provider.
• Maintain customs documentation, support SAT audit readiness, and report compliance status and exposure.
• Support import/export activities and assess the impact of changes to Mexican foreign trade regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Customs, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of trade compliance or foreign trade experience in an IMMEX manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with Annex 24, 30, and 31, the IMMEX Decree, Ley Aduanera, and VAT/IEPS certification requirements.
• Experience reconciling customs records with ERP data and physical inventory.
• Conversational English and fluent or native Spanish.
• Strong analytical, communication, Excel, and Microsoft Office skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with NetSuite, external IMMEX providers, SAT audits, self-corrections, or regularization processes.
• Experience in automation, robotics, electronics, or complex assembly manufacturing.
• Experience standardizing trade compliance processes in a growing or fast-paced environment.
