Infrastructure Engineer, TechOps CICD Image Management (Remote)

Location: USA - Remote. US citizenship or a Green Card is required.

Base salary: $120,000–$180,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses, equity grants, and benefits.

What you will do

• Maintain and extend Ceramic, the internal golden-image build platform.
• Design and operate automated golden-image pipelines primarily for Linux, with macOS and Windows support.
• Develop Python tooling for image builds, validation, drift detection, and regression testing.
• Author Infrastructure as Code with Ansible, Packer, and Terraform for provisioning, configuration, and compliance hardening.
• Integrate pipelines with Jenkins and GitLab CI, publish artifacts through Artifactory, and manage the full image lifecycle.
• Collaborate with security, compliance, and product engineering teams while resolving production issues and maintaining documentation.

Requirements

• US citizenship or Green Card required.
• 4+ years of software or infrastructure engineering experience, including strong Linux systems engineering at scale.
• Proficiency in Python for automation, tooling, and scripting, plus experience extending internal platforms or services.
• Experience with Ansible, Packer, Terraform, Jenkins and/or GitLab CI, and artifact management tools such as Artifactory.
• Understanding of virtualization and experience with VMware, KVM, or similar hypervisors.
• Experience administering macOS and Windows in CI/CD or build environments, with strong troubleshooting, debugging, communication, and on-call skills.

Nice to have

• macOS MDM, DEP, or Apple Business Manager experience.
• Kubernetes experience, preferably on-premises.
• Security hardening experience with CIS benchmarks, STIG, or Falcon sensor management.
• Experience in large-scale CI/CD or build infrastructure environments.
