Staff Technical Program Manager (AI Products)

Location: Remote-first in the United States; compensation is also specified for workers in Ontario and British Columbia, Canada.

Salary: USD 186,700–255,000 base salary depending on U.S. geographic zone; CAD 232,000–278,000 for workers in Ontario and British Columbia, plus bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Own the execution portfolio for an emerging product line from discovery through general availability across multiple engineering pods and cross-functional workstreams.
• Break down ambiguous, high-risk technical challenges into milestones, sequencing, and execution plans.
• Design and operate a zero-to-one program model covering pod structures, decision-maker cadences, readiness checklists, and leadership reviews.
• Define launch and general-availability readiness criteria and drive trade-off decisions with clear owners and deadlines.
• Manage cross-pillar risks and dependencies while providing executives with data-driven program visibility.
• Build repeatable health metrics, playbooks, AI tooling, and automation, while coaching engineering managers, product managers, and peer technical program managers.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree or relevant experience.
• 7+ years of technical program management experience running strategic, cross-pillar programs.
• Experience taking a new product from zero to launch or leading programs in incubation, new-venture, or emerging-technology environments.
• Strong technical foundation and ability to partner with technical leaders on architecture trade-offs and execution structure.
• Experience with AI, agentic, or developer platform products is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with program management tools such as Linear, Jira, Confluence, and Google Suite.

Nice to have

• Experience building operating cadences, readiness frameworks, and health metrics adopted beyond a single program.
• Experience introducing lightweight processes that scale across organizations.
• Strong executive communication and presentation skills.
