IT AI Technical Program Manager

Location: Remote USA; the position is listed as Flex - Austin.

Salary: $131,452–$158,400 USD annually, plus potential bonuses, paid time off, and region-specific benefits.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery of the Enterprise AI program portfolio from requirements and architecture through production adoption.
• Maintain program and milestone status in Jira and run standups, milestone reviews, and delivery gates.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and schedule slips and drive resolution across engineering, security, and business teams.
• Prepare weekly and executive-level reporting that connects program progress with business outcomes.
• Track AI infrastructure and platform spend and support budget visibility and forecasting.
• Lead production-readiness governance, launch enablement, training, documentation, and adoption measurement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 4+ years of technical program or project management experience in IT or software delivery.
• Strong knowledge of Jira and agile delivery practices.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams with structured milestone tracking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including executive-level reporting.
• Critical-thinking, analytical, independent working, and initiative-taking abilities.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering AI, ML, or data platform programs.
• Familiarity with cloud cost management, preferably AWS.
• Experience with AI governance, production readiness, or SDLC frameworks.
• Experience partnering with finance on budget and spend reporting.
• PMP, agile, or equivalent program management certification.
