Field Service Team Leader (Electrophysiology)

Location: Field-based across the United States, including Seattle, San Francisco, San Jose, Los Angeles, San Diego, Phoenix, Denver, Salt Lake City, Portland, Dallas, Austin, Houston, San Antonio, Oklahoma City, Kansas City, Omaha, Chicago, Minneapolis, St. Louis, Milwaukee, and other listed locations. Work involves a 50/50 split between home office and field locations, frequent air travel, short-notice travel, weekend and off-hours support, and living near a major airport.

What you will do

• Lead and work alongside Field Service Engineers supporting MedTech electrophysiology customer systems.
• Install, operate, modify, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment across the assigned territory.
• Manage regional schedules, service activities, project plans, inventories, RMA returns, and service documentation.
• Respond to emergency service requests and act as the regional escalation point for field service issues.
• Support hospitals, physicians, nurses, biomedical engineers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Provide training, beta-site support, preventive maintenance, design feedback, and continuous improvement input.

Requirements

• Vocational or trade certificate with preferably 4–6 years of related experience; or an associate degree with six years of cardiology, electrophysiology, biomedical, or hospital experience; or a preferred bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, electronics, electrical engineering, or computer engineering.
• Experience with project management, customer service, data analysis, communication, negotiation, collaboration, and problem solving.
• Leadership experience, preferably including direct or indirect team leadership.
• Strong understanding of the electrophysiology and ablation market, with fluent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to operate a company vehicle with the appropriate license, travel frequently, work weekends and off-hours, lift up to 60 pounds, and follow safety and PPE requirements.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, standard test equipment including a digital voltmeter, and service management systems is useful.
