Buyer - OSP (Aerospace)

STS Aerospace, part of hirify.global, provides aerospace manufacturing operations and is expanding its team in Laconia.

What you will do

• Manage requisitions and purchasing for assigned commodities, including MRO, outside processing, rubber, and work transfers.
• Solicit and evaluate supplier quotations and prepare, review, and issue purchase orders.
• Ensure technical, quality, commercial, and customer requirements are communicated to suppliers.
• Monitor purchase order shortages, discrepancies, exception reports, and invoice issues; perform root cause analysis and coordinate resolutions.
• Manage MRO inventory needs and negotiate pricing, delivery, terms, and conditions.
• Track supplier performance, maintain purchasing records, and communicate order status and risks with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Supply Chain, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Three to five years of professional buying experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Aerospace purchasing experience is preferred.
• Ability to manage supplier quotations, purchase orders, documentation, negotiations, and discrepancy resolution.
• Ability to perform the essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodation when necessary.
