B1.3 Licensed Engineer - Line (Aerospace)

Location: Primarily onsite at RAF Shawbury, Shropshire, United Kingdom; occasional work at other sites may be required. Shift pattern provides 160 hours over 28 days.

What you will do

• Deliver serviceable aircraft to support the daily MFTS flying programme.
• Perform maintenance inspections and repairs in accordance with aviation regulations and company procedures.
• Maintain airframe structures, power plants, mechanical systems, electrical systems, and avionics systems.
• Complete and certify maintenance to ensure the safe and continued operation of aircraft.
• Supervise maintenance fitters and certify their work.
• Support hangar operations, including aircraft movement and housekeeping.

Requirements

• Valid UK CAA Part 66 B1.3 Licence required.
• Working knowledge of UK CAA Part 145, Part CAMO, and UK ANO regulations.
• Thorough knowledge of engine and airframe systems, with experience in an aviation engineering environment.
• Strong communication, organisational, leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Current legal right to work in the United Kingdom required; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Must be able to obtain SC security clearance and complete mandatory BPSS checks; SC clearance generally requires five years of UK residency.

Nice to have

• hirify.global EC135 T3H or hirify.global BK117 D2 type rating.
• Avionics technician experience with at least six Part 66 B2 modules completed and more than three years documented in experience logbooks.
