Sr Project Engineer (Chemical Manufacturing)

Location: Pampa, Texas, United States; onsite plant engineering role.

What you will do

• Lead plant engineering projects through conceptual analysis, front-end engineering, detailed design, execution, and closeout.
• Coordinate internal and external engineers, project controls, contractors, vendors, and multiple business functions.
• Develop project scope, objectives, design basis, cost estimates, milestone schedules, and execution plans.
• Monitor and report project scope, cost, schedule, milestones, deviations, invoices, and financial closeout.
• Make design and sourcing decisions, establish responsibilities and procedures, and approve vendor and contractor invoices.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies and insurance engineers to maintain compliance with applicable codes and standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• 5+ years of project execution experience.
• Strong knowledge of engineering theories and principles, plant troubleshooting, and multidisciplinary project leadership.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Demonstrated critical-thinking skills and the ability to maintain focus for extended periods.
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
