Process Engineer Intern - Life Sciences (Summer 2027)

What you will do

• Develop and implement project deliverables under the direction of an assigned Process Engineer mentor.
• Support the design and engineering of manufacturing facilities and equipment.
• Contribute to projects involving pharmaceutical, biotech, food and beverage, and industrial facilities, including renovations, retrofits, and new construction.
• Support facility infrastructure and critical utility systems.
• Document process design scope in coordination with other engineering disciplines.
• Collaborate with vendors, clients, contractors, internal teams, and industry leaders.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, or Biochemical Engineering from an accredited program.
• Available to work full-time from May through August 2027.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong interest in Food & Beverage or Life Sciences industries.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Eagerness to learn about the AEC industry and apply academic knowledge to engineering projects.

Nice to have

• Progress toward or completion of Fundamental of Engineering Exam registration.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, BIM360 Suite, or Assemble.
• Experience with process optimization, lean manufacturing principles, industry regulations, or AEC standards.
• Prior Process Engineering internship or co-op experience.
