Welding & Automation Specialist - West (Welding Automation)

Location: Mesa, Arizona, United States; onsite equipment setup and demonstrations required.

What you will do

• Grow rental, lease, and sales of Red-D-Arc specialty welding and automation products, including submerged arc systems, positioners, manipulators, turning rolls, heat-treatment equipment, and blasting products.
• Develop customer relationships, follow up on leads, assess needs, prepare quotes, and present technical solutions.
• Create conceptual hard-automation application drawings and expand sales channels for welding automation and integrated work-cell solutions.
• Recommend welding automation products and coordinate onsite equipment setup and demonstrations.
• Train field sales teams and Advanced Fabrication Specialists on standard and specialized product capabilities.
• Maintain business plans, regional forecasts, customer reports, and relationships with sales leaders.

Requirements

• More than five years of sales experience in weld-process sales.
• Strong background in welding processes, with particular emphasis on automation and submerged arc welding.
• Post-secondary education equivalent to a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to lead, mentor, delegate, communicate clearly, solve problems, and make independent decisions.
• Strong technical, written, presentation, interpersonal, and management skills.
• Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office products; certifications such as CWI, CWE, CRAW, CWS, or NCCER instructor are relevant.
