Systems Assembly (Electromechanical)

What you will do

• Verify incoming materials for quantity, quality, and correct part numbers, then select the parts, tools, and equipment required for assembly.
• Operate machinery, hand tools, and pneumatic tools for riveting, drilling, gluing, and assembling sophisticated components and systems.
• Use calibrated precision measuring instruments and electrical circuit testers for quality inspections.
• Package completed components for shipment, including constructing skids, selecting packaging materials, shrink wrapping, banding, and printing labels.
• Cross-train across assembly line steps, support process improvement, and train new team members as needed.
• Follow daily direction from the Team Leader or Supervisor while meeting quality, safety, and lean standards.

Requirements

• Must qualify as a US Person under 22 C.F.R. 120.15 to work at the ITAR-controlled Warwick facility.
• Electromechanical assembly experience is preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience performing complex assembly operations is preferred.
• Ability to read and write, follow written instructions, and complete job-related paperwork.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a repetitive, fast-paced environment and perform visual inspections.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds several times daily and stand, walk, bend, and lift during shifts of 8 or more hours.
