Manufacturing Engineer (Robotics)

Location: On-site in South San Francisco, United States. Must be authorized to work in the United States and willing to travel as needed to support manufacturing operations.

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes and workflows for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and product quality.
• Collaborate with design and quality teams to ensure product manufacturability and reliability.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for manufacturing issues.
• Support production ramp-up by developing scalable manufacturing techniques and protocols.
• Establish manufacturing documentation, process controls, and operating standards.
• Work with suppliers and vendors to ensure material and component quality and delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in motor, actuator, drone, or robotics manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of automation, assembly, quality control, root cause analysis, process improvement, and lean manufacturing.
• Proficiency with CAD software and manufacturing execution systems.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Authorization to work in the United States and willingness to travel as needed.

Nice to have

• Experience with drone motor or robotic actuator manufacturing.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality standards.
• Knowledge of supply chain management and vendor relations.
