Senior Product Designer, Everyday Banking

Location: Toronto, ON, at Toronto-81 Bay; hybrid arrangement with 1–3 days per week on-site and the remaining days remote

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end product design from discovery and problem framing through delivery.
• Design connected experiences across client-facing digital platforms and frontline employee tools.
• Create journey maps, service flows, wireframes, prototypes, detailed screens, and design specifications.
• Use interviews, usability testing, analytics, and stakeholder feedback to guide design decisions.
• Collaborate with product managers, researchers, content designers, developers, business analysts, and other designers.
• Facilitate workshops, clarify trade-offs, and improve design systems, accessibility, and inclusive design practices.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience designing digital products, with a portfolio showing both exploratory and delivered work.
• Experience with user research, data interpretation, and translating insights into practical design decisions.
• Proficiency in Figma and prototyping, with experience designing for web and mobile platforms.
• Knowledge of inclusive design and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) accessibility standards.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, communicate clearly, and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada and able to provide a valid work or study permit where applicable.

Nice to have

• Experience designing for complex services or regulated environments.
• Experience with persona creation, digital content, and user behavior analysis.
