Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite industrial manufacturing environment; flexibility to work various shifts, weekends, and on-call rotations is required.

What you will do

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on presses, furnaces, and ancillary production equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical systems up to 480V, pneumatic systems, and hydraulic systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime and production interruptions.
• Inspect facilities and equipment, implement corrective actions, and maintain repair and parts records.
• Install, adjust, and calibrate new machinery and equipment.
• Collaborate with production teams, support continuous improvement, and train junior maintenance staff when required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in manufacturing or a heavy industrial environment.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Understanding of industrial maintenance safety procedures, including lockout/tagout.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in heat, noise, and other industrial conditions.

Nice to have

• PLC experience.
• Hands-on welding experience.
