Respiratory Therapist (Cardiopulmonary Services)

Location: 603 S Chestnut St, Ellensburg, Washington, USA; onsite hospital-based role.

Salary: USD 30.29–48.98 per hour, depending on license level and experience.

What you will do

• Provide cardiopulmonary services to hospital patients and outpatients.
• Coordinate patient care with physicians, nursing staff, and other therapy teams.
• Use advanced assessment skills to intervene in complex patient care situations.
• Conduct non-invasive cardiac and respiratory studies and tests.
• Coordinate special projects and provide short-term support to nursing staff during high-utilization periods.

Requirements

• Registry with the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist.
• Current Washington State Respiratory Therapist license is required.
• Current CPR card with ongoing maintenance.
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP certification within six months of hire, with ongoing maintenance.
• Strong advanced assessment skills and the ability to manage complex patient care situations.

Nice to have

• Experience in respiratory care, including adult and pediatric acute care.
• Experience in tertiary-level or geriatric respiratory care.
• Experience or education supporting group and team relationships.
