Location: 1000 N. Westmoreland, Lake Forest, Illinois, United States; onsite night shift

Salary: USD 38.50–53.90 per hour

What you will do

• Administer respiratory care to acutely ill patients through assessment, planning, intervention, treatment, and evaluation.
• Provide respiratory therapies across adult medical-surgical, emergency, critical care, and other hospital units.
• Implement respiratory protocols, deliver ordered treatments, and assess and communicate patient responses.
• Respond to clinical emergencies and participate in multidisciplinary rounds.
• Educate patients and families about respiratory disease management and available resources.
• Precept students and support teamwork, cooperation, and professional standards.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Active or pending Illinois Respiratory Care license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to work across adult medical-surgical, emergency, and critical care settings.

Nice to have

• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Adult Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
