Staff Engineer, DevSecOps

Location: Remote within the United States. US citizenship or a Green Card is required, along with at least 3 years of US residency. Visa sponsorship is not available. Candidates must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance and complete a US Government background investigation.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable backend services, microservices, and APIs.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, security validation, deployment, and releases.
• Provision and manage AWS infrastructure with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent tools.
• Develop and operate containerized applications and platforms with Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
• Implement security controls, vulnerability scanning, secrets management, compliance checks, observability, logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues, conduct technical and security reviews, document systems, collaborate across engineering and security teams, and mentor engineers.

Requirements

• Strong DevSecOps experience with AWS, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, containers, automation, and security.
• Python and Kubernetes experience are required.
• Experience with technologies including Groovy, Bash, Go, Maven, Jenkins, Terraform, and Docker.
• Experience designing secure, reliable, scalable systems and resolving application, infrastructure, deployment, and production issues.
• US citizenship or a Green Card, at least 3 years of US residency, and eligibility to obtain Public Trust clearance are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with large-scale, production-ready systems.
• PostgreSQL, GitHub Actions, Camunda, FHIR, and AI/ML experience.
