Head of Production Engineering (RF)

What you will do

• Lead and manage production engineering for hirify.global products.
• Support manufacturing by diagnosing and resolving production failures, part shortages, component substitutions, and other production issues.
• Optimize RF calibration systems for throughput and yield.
• Develop and manage automated production test systems to identify component and manufacturing issues early in the build process.
• Control the publication of engineering designs, production documentation, work instructions, test procedures, and manufacturing records.
• Build and lead an internal and external production engineering organization, including objectives, performance management, recruitment, retention, and development.

Requirements

• Engineering Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. degree required.
• Expertise in designing, implementing, and delivering bespoke production automation lines, automated test rigs, and PCBA verification.
• Strong ability to diagnose, resolve, and prevent production issues through personal contribution and team leadership.
• In-depth knowledge of complex RF systems, including RF, digital, and signal-affecting components.
• Knowledge of satellite communications, constellations, modems, and related technologies.
• Familiarity with RF, digital, software, hardware, mechanical, and thermal engineering concerns, along with strong cross-functional communication skills.
