Test & Assembly Technician

What you will do

• Assemble and test dry gas seals using engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and approved procedures.
• Install and set up seals in designated test rigs and operate testing equipment according to test plans.
• Use tools, instruments, and testing equipment; perform rotor balancing and other precision assembly processes.
• Monitor instrumentation, record test results, identify deviations, and escalate quality concerns or non-conformances.
• Maintain accurate assembly and test documentation while meeting quality, safety, productivity, and operational standards.
• Support Test Engineers with complex testing activities and contribute to continuous improvement across manufacturing, engineering, quality, and testing functions.

Requirements

• Previous experience in mechanical assembly, testing, manufacturing, or engineering environments.
• Strong mechanical or technical aptitude and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing team and follow procedures safely.
• Good organisational, record-keeping, and communication skills with a willingness to learn.

Nice to have

• Experience with precision-engineered products.
• Familiarity with test equipment, instrumentation, and data recording.
• Understanding of quality systems and continuous improvement principles.
