Manager II (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Austin, TX, United States; onsite production environment

Salary: $68,000–$93,500 per year

What you will do

• Supervise employees performing assembly, inspection, testing, final testing, and related production or operations functions.
• Prioritize production schedules based on staffing, equipment efficiency, capacity, and material requirements.
• Track organizational performance metrics, lead milestone meetings, and improve cycle time and operational results.
• Resolve operations issues affecting customer satisfaction and coordinate customer and vendor requirements.
• Plan capacity optimization and implement processes for collecting, analyzing, and reporting manufacturing data.
• Drive process, Lean, Safety, and Quality improvements and initiate corrective actions.

Requirements

• Understanding of procedures and concepts within the relevant job family and basic knowledge of related job families.
• Formal supervisory experience, including setting priorities and coaching employees to meet daily deadlines.
• Ability to resolve day-to-day technical and operational problems using sound judgment.
• Ability to manage training, performance goals, development plans, hiring, rewards, and discipline processes.
• Ability to work onsite in Austin, Texas, including extended standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, lifting, and working in tight or noisy spaces.
• Ability to work in a clean room and use required personal protective equipment, including coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields.
