Operations Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States. The role follows a 9/80 schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., with every other Friday off; alternating Fridays end at 3:00 p.m.

Salary: $120,000–$155,000 annually.

What you will do

• Lead a large team of supervisors, technicians, and associates across a multi-shift manufacturing operation.
• Drive safety, quality, efficiency, yield, OEE, and throughput performance.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and develop operational leaders and associates.
• Create training programs and career development paths to improve quality and reduce lead time and cost.
• Collaborate with engineering to start up and optimize CCA equipment and production processes.
• Identify root causes of quality issues, implement corrective actions, and report operational risks to leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a STEM discipline, or 4+ years of professional leadership experience in manufacturing.
• At least 3 years of production operations or process development experience.
• At least 2 years of leadership experience.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with production, quality, engineering, and customers.
• Ability to work onsite in Salt Lake City, Utah, in a shop-floor manufacturing environment.
• Occasional travel to suppliers, customers, or other company sites may be required, including international travel.

Nice to have

• Experience with CCA manufacturing processes such as SMT, select or wave soldering, AXI, conformal coating, flying probe, and electrical testing.
• Experience launching a new production line and bringing it to production rate.
• Experience in an Industry 4.0 environment and applying lean manufacturing principles.
• Ability to adapt to a constantly changing work environment.
