Manufacturing Section Manager (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Farmers Branch, Texas, United States; onsite day-shift position

What you will do

• Lead manufacturing operational readiness, startup execution, workstation readiness, and production stabilization for VPS fab operations.
• Develop standardized work, escalation processes, operational routines, KPI systems, visual controls, and manufacturing communication structures.
• Lead hiring, onboarding, operator certification, workforce ramp activities, and development of supervisors and manufacturing teams.
• Manage daily VPS manufacturing operations across multiple shifts while driving safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and workforce effectiveness.
• Partner with Engineering, Facilities, Quality, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing Systems teams on factory flow, layout, staffing, and production readiness.
• Drive continuous improvement in workforce readiness, equipment utilization, productivity, workflow efficiency, and manufacturing discipline.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree, 6 years with a master's degree, 3 years with a PhD, or equivalent experience.
• Manufacturing leadership experience managing supervisors, operators, and manufacturing teams.
• Experience in semiconductor, wafer fab, cleanroom, or precision manufacturing environments.
• Experience with assembly-line startup, factory ramp, operational readiness, and scalable manufacturing systems.
• Experience supporting MES or manufacturing systems implementation and operator certification programs.
• Strong communication, organizational, leadership, workforce planning, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
