What you will do

• Lead avionics and electrical design and integration for prototype vehicles, including sensor and mission-systems integration.
• Support rapid prototyping end-to-end from concept architecture through bench integration, ground test, and flight test.
• Set technical approach, standards, and integration methods for the avionics and electrical discipline within Special Programs.
• Conduct technical feasibility assessments for new opportunities, RFPs, and mission requirements.
• Collaborate with program leads and broader engineering teams to align technical approaches with timelines.
• Produce technical documentation, trade studies, and analysis packages for design maturity reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Avionics, or Computer Engineering.
• 8–12 years of relevant engineering experience in aerospace or defense platforms.
• Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee) as defined by ITAR/EAR.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
• Experience with data bus and communication protocols such as ARINC, CAN, or MIL-STD-1553.
• No work visa sponsorship is available for this position.
