MSA Solutions Analyst (Medicare Compliance)

Location: Remote - USA

Salary: $60,000–$75,000 annually

Medicare compliance services provider supporting the property and casualty insurance industry, particularly workers’ compensation and liability claim settlements involving bodily injury.

What you will do

• Review medical records, claim files, hearing orders, and depositions to prepare Medicare Set-Aside allocation reports.
• Prepare future medical cost projections and develop clear allocation rationales.
• Research Medicare coverage requirements, Medicare Secondary Payer statutes, jurisdictional rules, treatment protocols, and related costs.
• Review automated pricing results, proofread calculations and summaries, and maintain accurate documentation in MyConnect.
• Identify mitigation opportunities, communicate claim exposure to customers, and respond to questions about allocations and compliance.
• Collaborate with team leaders, coding and clinical teams, referral coordinators, and other internal groups while producing an average of 1.2 allocation reports per day.

Requirements

• Three to five years of experience with workers’ compensation or liability claims.
• Relevant background such as a Juris Doctor degree, paralegal certificate, claims management experience, MSA Analyst experience, or a bachelor’s degree in nursing with an active Registered Nurse license and three to five years of clinical nursing experience.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, reading comprehension, proofreading, grammar, numerical presentation, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to research and interpret Medicare guidelines, Medicare Secondary Payer statutes, jurisdictional requirements, medical terminology, and regulatory communications.
• Proficiency with basic mathematics, Microsoft Office Suite, typing, and data entry.
• Ability to protect confidential medical information, work independently, collaborate effectively, and adjust working hours when business demands require it.
