Site Supervisor

Location: Huntsville, Alabama, United States. Onsite role, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM. Some travel may be required.

Salary: $62,000–$65,000 per year

What you will do

• Coordinate daily activities for company and temporary employees within the assigned program.
• Train, supervise, instruct, and evaluate employees on tasks, safety policies, and procedures.
• Conduct quality, service, safety, sanitation, and OSHA compliance inspections.
• Track equipment maintenance, repairs, supplies, inventory, attendance, training, inspections, and performance metrics.
• Prepare pass-down, weekly, and monthly reports and communicate personnel or customer issues to management.
• Correct unsafe behavior, recommend corrective actions, and help resolve workplace problems.

Requirements

• Six months to one year of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication, customer service, training, coaching, presentation, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Ability to understand safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and routine reports.
• Ability to lift or move up to 35 pounds.
• A valid driver’s license and forklift certification may be required.

Nice to have

• Bilingual Spanish communication skills.
• Experience using forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Knowledge of database, internet, spreadsheet, and word-processing software.
