Site Health Safety & Environmental (HSE) Specialist

Location: Forest Park, Georgia, USA — onsite at the West Facility

Salary: $61,800–$113,100 (Zone C), $68,000–$124,500 (Zone B), or $74,200–$135,800 (Zone A) annually, depending on work location.

What you will do

• Lead site HSE programs, compliance activities, assessments, metrics, and management-system improvements.
• Investigate safety incidents, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Manage environmental compliance, including wastewater permits, Tier II reporting, SWP3, SPCC, hazardous-waste management, and regulatory reporting.
• Maintain federal, state, and local plant permits and act as a point of contact for inspectors and regulatory agencies.
• Deliver HSE training, oversee required training completion, and advise operations on safe employee interaction with machinery and new equipment.
• Drive risk-reduction and continuous-improvement initiatives while supporting workers’ compensation claims management.

Requirements

• 4+ years of HSE experience in a manufacturing environment, or 3+ years leading HSE programs with formal HSE continuing education in lieu of a degree.
• Bachelor’s degree in HSE or a related discipline.
• Strong environmental management experience and knowledge of EPA, RCRA, Tier II, county permitting, and related standards.
• HSE training or equivalent experience in areas including DOT hazardous materials and RCRA.
• Successful completion of OSHA 501 and 511 safety training courses, plus current First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
• Strong leadership, influencing, written, verbal, presentation, prioritization, and independent execution skills.

Nice to have
